Meet our team

Stephen BissettDirector
Stephen Bissett is the director and owner of GCA Electrical and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise of over 30 years in the Electrical Industry. Stephen has many years of hands on experience starting himself as an Apprentice when he was 16 and gradually working his way up in a number of Tier one Electrical Companies in the roles of estimator, foreman, project manager and operations manager before becoming the director of GCA. Stephen has built strong ties with his clients and suppliers and believes in long term relationships are a vital component of the success of GCA Electrical Australia.
He is a big advocate for people to further enhance their skills and over the years he himself has ensured he has further developed his role and knowledge by completing a variety of extra studies. This includes a degree in project management from the University of New England, Diploma in Electrical Engineering and also in 2013 completed a certificate IV in training and assessment.
In his spare time Stephen enjoys being an active member of his local community by being a committee member of his local soccer club where he enjoys playing soccer. He also coaches his children’s soccer and cricket teams and keeping fit with his family.
Rebecca BissettCustomer Service and Sales Manager
Rebecca has a very strong background in customer service, sales and marketing with over 20 years’ experience in a variety of different fields. Most recently spending seven years as a Sales and training consultant for a Company who provided sound equipment and hearing augmentation to the corporate and education sectors. Rebecca also has completed a degree in marketing and has a great love of excellent Customer service and building strong company relations with all our clients.
In her spare time Rebecca loves Reading, cooking and is involved with volunteer work with her children’s schools and spending time with her family.
James CastleSenior Estimator - Major projects and Commercial
James Castle has been GCA Electrical Australia’s Senior Estimator since 2014 and has built strong relationships with many builders and clients over his time at the company. He has a very strong understanding of all size projects and has been an integral part in the success of GCA Electrical growth in the commercial markets with his strong customer relationship focus. James has been in the industry for over 25 years and has a through understanding of what our clients need and want on their jobs.
